Online Personal Training - With me!

Are you curious about having me as your very own personal coach? Wonder how it works? and if online training is for you?


Often when I talk to people who are considering hiring a Personal Trainer / Health and Confidence Coach have lots of questions about the whole process - so I thought I would walk you through how it works when it you want to be my online client.


Whenever a person reaches out to me, we arrange a time to properly talk about what it is that they are reaching out for.


When we talk, it is also important for me to understand the challenges that they have been and are still facing when trying to get what they want.

This bit is usually the most hardest for the client because it can be really tough talking about insecurities and they often feel like they have failed in some way. I get that this stuff is hard to talk about, its difficult to share these thoughts with your closest friend - let alone someone that you have just met!


I always take the time to listen to what they are saying, the more a client feels comfortable to open up, the more I get to know this person and I get a clearer picture of the best way to go about helping them. For me it is the most useful part of their journey, I note down key information that will help me create a program specifically for that person with their needs in mind.


We agree days and times that you are willing to commit to your program and once that has been agreed I'll get to work on creating an effective program especially for you.


I can make and create workouts complete with how to's for each exercise. So it is actually me that gets to guide you through each and every workout.

You also get to rate the workout when your done - Rate it high - I know you are working hard for it, rate it low and I will know that it is time to raise the bar!


It is very interactive -I can see every time that you are active and will send you messages throughout the week to cheer you on when you are killing it but also pick you up when you have fallen off track. This function has worked wonders for my clients that were worried about accountability. They find it rewarding and have become addicted to clicking the complete button and getting the thumbs up from me!


If nutrition is something that you would like to get under control then tracking has never been so easy! In the old days I had a paper food diary for clients to fill in which took time, effort and some good memory skills to get a good idea of a clients diet.

These days, I can set your calorie amount and even macros (if your so inclined). This app works with 'myfitnesspal' all you do is scan or describe what you have eaten and it does all the tracking for you.


Some clients might benefit from 'extra support sessions' which are often used as pep talk catch ups, extra help with nutritional needs and for the determined/crazy - extra push sessions which is an extra challenging workout that I push you through!


After a few weeks we will be checking in to celebrate the progress you have made, I will be finding out how the whole experience has been for you so far.

Although most clients are nervous at their first check in, they are always surprised at the changes they have made from losing weight to sleeping better, having more energy and feeling better within themselves generally. It is also a great time for me to see how I can tweak and update your program to reflect your progress and keep pushing you forwards until you cross the finish line and have obtained what it was that you reached out to me for.
